EDHREC commanders

These are the commander names players search next to EDHREC. Each guide uses Scryfall for color identity and rules text, and links to the matching EDHREC page for deck counts.

As commander, or in the 99

EDHREC can show the same card two ways. "As commander" counts lists that lead with it. The other view counts lists that merely include it. Edgar Markov's eminence deck is the first view. A vampire that shows up in someone else's 99 is the second. Mixing them produces a pile that does not match either table.

Color identity is the hard filter before any percentage matters. Commander rules cover the command zone, the tax, and the 21 damage rule. The deck builder rejects cards outside the legend you picked.

Questions

What does an EDHREC commander page show?

It shows the legend, how many public decks use it as the commander, and the cards those decks share. Filters cover bracket, budget, and tags. A separate view covers the same card when it is only in the 99.

Why are some names split across several cards?

Azula, Kefka, Sephiroth, Terra, and Y'shtola each have more than one legendary card. Those cards do not share a color identity, so EDHREC keeps a page per card. This directory links the group, then each printing.

Do these pages copy EDHREC percentages?

No. Each guide explains the card's rules and colors, then links to the EDHREC commander URL for live deck counts.
