Y'shtola EDHREC commanders

Y'shtola EDHREC usually means Y'shtola, Night's Blessed, the white, blue, and black cat warlock from Final Fantasy Commander (13 June 2025). Y'shtola Rhul is a different, mono-blue card from the same release.

Night's Blessed

Y'shtola, Night's Blessed costs {2}{W}{U}{B} and has vigilance. At each end step, if a player lost 4 or more life that turn, you draw a card. Whenever you cast a noncreature spell with mana value 3 or greater, she deals 2 damage to each opponent and you gain 2 life.

The deck wants noncreature spells at mana value 3 or more, and it wants life totals to move by 4 in a turn so the end-step draw turns on. Her damage trigger is one way to get there. A fetch land or a shock is not, by itself, 4 life.

Y'shtola Rhul is not the same page

Y'shtola Rhul costs {4}{U}{U}. At the beginning of your end step she exiles a creature you control and returns it, then adds an extra end step the first time this happens in a turn. That is a blink commander with blue identity only. Cards from a Night's Blessed average list that need white or black mana are illegal here.

EDHREC splits these pages. Search the full name, not only Y'shtola, or the two decks collapse into one browser tab and the colors lie.
